Self Serve Services
Fully staffed self-serve resource centre for independent job search activities, providing computers and internet access, printers, telephones, fax machines, photocopier and scanning services. As well as a variety of job search resources and access to community service resource information.

Case Management services are provided when it is determined that an individual requires more intensive services and supports to meet their employment objectives. It involves working collaboratively with a Case Manager to assess and identify your employment readiness, your specific employment related needs and developing an individualized action plan to support your efforts to achieve labour market attachment. Your Case Manager will assess your eligibility for services, provide one to one employment counseling, job search support and career decision making guidance and continue to support and monitor your progress through regular follow up until you successfully obtain employment or community attachment.
Group Based Workshops
A variety of topics are available related to preparing for, finding, obtaining and maintaining employment; career exploration, labour market information, resumes, hidden job market, interviews, and more.
Skills training provides eligible clients an opportunity to develop the required skills for labour market attachment. This includes short term orientation and certificate training, academic upgrading and post-secondary skills training.
Eligible clients will develop further awareness and understanding about self-employment and how to start a business. For individuals who are unable to obtain sustainable employment in the local labour market and self-employment has been assessed as a suitable option.
For individuals who are registered in an Industry Training Authority (ITA) approved training program and have an Employer Sponsor, financial supports are provided while participating in the classroom technical training components of apprenticeship training. Eligible clients who do not have an Employer Sponsor but are seeking to access apprentice training may be assisted and considered for training supports through the case management process.
Provides opportunity for eligible case managed clients who may be lacking work experience to obtain employment. This is achieved through securing an employer interested in hiring an individual and providing the employee with the skills and experience necessary to meet the job requirements and successfully maintain employment. The employer is provided reimbursement of a percentage of the employee’s wages while they are acquiring on the on the job experience.
Employment Assessments provided by professional and qualified assessors to assist case managed individuals who have a number of complex needs and who require further assessment and consideration as it pertains to achieving employment. Assessments may include: medical assessment, learning disability assessment, vocational/psychological assessment, and physical/functional capacity assessment, amongst others.
Series of workshops provided to people facing multiple barriers to employment or people who are survivors of violence and/or abuse. The workshops are designed to build on the existing strengths of participants who want to make positive changes in their lives. For more info click here
